Harold W. Clark 60 from Peebles Ohio returned his World War II medals to President Ford saying tardy delivery insults enlisted men. The DAV backs him. Clark notes a Silver Star Bronze Star Purple Heart and other honors in a box marked for him. He earned recognition for a house to house battle where he led survivors after officers were killed.

Jailed 41 times before reform in 1941 Weil earned an estimated 8 million from con games. The Yellow Kid Weil died in a convalescent home at 101 after years on welfare. He lived in flamboyant style with yellow attire and cards reflecting his notorious career. He left no known survivors.
