Boil one quart salted water and add halibut steaks or fillets fresh or frozen. Return to boil and simmer ten minutes or until fish flakes. Drain, remove skin and bones, then flake. Yields two cups of flaked halibut suitable for recipes calling for flaked fish and serves six.
