Ocala mother wins two week Bahamas cruise in gum wrapper contest
Mrs Frank Hendley of Ocala Florida wins first prize in a Beech Nut gum wrapper contest. She and her five children will cruise for two weeks aboard an eighty foot schooner sailing anywhere in the Bahamas. They sailed from Nassau and enjoyed fishing, photography, swimming and shell collecting while reporting bumps and shins from deck duties. She now speaks at women’s clubs, joking about sudden celebrity status.
