Deaths and funerals for Mrs Mabel L Byrd in Middletown
Services for 79 year old Mrs. Mabel L Byrd of Garden Manor Extended Care Center will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at Joseph R Baker Funeral Home with Rev J Herschel Caudill officiating. Burial follows in Woodside Cemetery. She died at Middletown Hospital yesterday at 2 30 a.m. After one day in hospital she had lived at Garden Manor five years and previously at 3027 Navaho St. Survivors include four sons six daughters, 31 grandchildren, 45 great grandchildren and nine great great grandchildren. The family reported numerous relatives including several in Kentucky Michigan Ohio and Tennessee. Memorial details and calling hours listed. Lebanon man charged after police chase and DUI arrest
James M Sibey 21 of 616 Crestview Road Lebanon was charged with driving while intoxicated eluding arrest resisting arrest and assault on a police officer after leading police on a pursuit from the Starglow Drive-In to the 2100 block of Wellington Road Monroe. A train derailed on Lafayette Avenue and two 14 year olds were taken into custody at Malvern Street. A heavy object shattered a truck windshield on Nelbar Street. Two men allegedly forced Mike King to surrender his hat and gloves on Woodlawn Avenue Garfield Street.
