Benet home named national landmark in Augusta

The boyhood home of Stephen Vincent Benet, the Commandant's House at the Augusta Arsenal, is designated a national historic landmark. It was home to Col J Walker Benet in 1911 and later housed Stephen and William Benet, renowned writers. Stephen won the Pulitzer in 1929 for John Brown's Body.
