Job Corps riot at Breckinridge center blamed on protection racket
Morganfield Kentucky 11 hurt as a 45 minute riot at Camp Breckinridge followed claims of a protection racket in operation for about two weeks. FBI agents had been on site over burglaries while 600 corpsmen faced fighting and a false fire alarm. Local and state authorities aided as 10-11 injured were treated. officials called it a misunderstanding among corpsmen, not a racial clash.

Caudle Pardoned By LBJ
T Lamar Caudle former Truman administration official who served six months in a tax conspiracy case has been pardoned by President Johnson. The pardon clears a $2 500 fine and allows him to practice before federal courts again. Caudle said he is very happy and recalled being fired by Truman. He spoke from Wade sboro North Carolina where he said he has lived in a fishbowl for 14 years. The White House had no immediate comment.

Marines court martialed for attempting to steal B57 planes
Two U S Marines accused of trying to steal jet bombers at Da Nang in July were court martialed. One received three years confinement and dishonorable discharge, the other one year confinement.
