Thomas Imfeld, Middletown High School class of 1968, reflects on youth, responsibility, and choosing a trade over college. He recalls wrestling and yearbook work, misspent time apart after graduation, and a lifelong interest in racing and engines.
Dave Smith, Franklin High School class of 1968, now Warren County Council on Aging director, recalls a carefree era of cruising around Lake LeSourdsville and balancing school activities. He describes pressures as minor, remembers prom decisions, and notes a path from ROTC to Ohio State, then the Columbus Dispatch sports desk. He credits his high school class with goal orientation and widespread professional success, and offers 1978 graduates advice to listen and respect others.
Mary Louise Ream, now Mrs. Steven Creekbaum of Cranewood Drive, Trenton, reflects on her 1968 Seven Mile High School valedictory as she builds a life centered on happiness, marriage, children, and work. She recalls student politics, Nixon era views, and protests, yet emphasizes a strong work ethic and personal satisfaction.
