Pie in the Face Mania Expands Across Classrooms and Capitol
The pie throwing trend grows with Pie Kill Unlimited in New York and Pie Face International in Washington. Organizers charge from 40 dollars for pranks at offices, conventions, and parties, with some targets resisting and others facing charges. Notable figures include Gov James Edwards and IBM employee Jim Reid, while groups from University of South Carolina to University of Maryland promote pie hits and offer contracts.
