Kennedy library plans face years more of delays and politics

Gilligan swears in new PUCO member and chairman

Gov John J Gilligan swore in Edmund J Turk as public utilities commissioner and chairman designate of the PUCO in Columbus. Turk succeeds the late Eckhart whose unexpired term was left vacant after Senate rejection of Eckhart and after Eckhart served as acting chairman for over two years before resigning and being reappointed March 28 with a pay raise.
