The Young Folk, a 60 member youth music group from College Hill Presbyterian Church Cincinnati, will perform at New Jersey Presbyterian Church Fairview Drive and Jamaica Road tomorrow at 7 30 p m The group aims to spread Christian witness through modern folk music and uses color lights and sound under director C Harry Causey A prior appearance at the New Church was two years ago with tours across many states and Canada A freewill offering will be received.
The gospel trio God's Looking Glass from Cynthiana Kentucky will headline First Church on Central Ave April 16 at 6 pm with a carry in dessert to follow The group includes evangelist Chuck Cooper a student at Asbury Theological Seminary his sister Rhonda a special education teacher and Donna Clark a health and physical education teacher The trio has released two albums and toured nationally including Israel in 1975 They will provide baby sitting for very young attendees during Sundays program.

The Amanda United Methodist Church announces Rev. Dean Harkness as its new pastor. He previously served 1974-78 with Christ Scioto Furnace and Firebrick after youth work at First United Methodist Shelby 1972-73 and was ordained in 1972. Harkness earned a Master of Divinity from Ashland Theological Seminary in 1974 and a BA from Asbury College in 1971. His wife Ruth has taught in several school systems.

The Rev. Michael Hutchens is named pastor of the Middletown First Church of the Nazarene. He arrives from Hamilton after more than six years at Tulley Road Church of the Nazarene and has pastored in Ripley West Carrollton Vandalia and Eaton. He serves in Southwestern Ohio District as district treasurer and chairs the District Board of Ministerial Studies. His wife Pat is in her 11th year as district missionary vice president and they have two daughters.
