Boy Mauled by Ox Near Suffern in Narrow Escape
On Sunday the 6th the son of John Quackenbush near Suffern tied to an ox led to water. The frightened animal ran a quarter mile dragging the boy. Rescued in a mangled, nearly clothing-free state he was in critical condition and apparently dead.
