MU Gets Contract For Study Of Electrical Usage
The Missouri Public Service Commission approved a contract with the University of Missouri Columbia to collect data on electricity usage and relate it to income levels. Rex Campbell will supervise the survey, due next April at a cost of 6000 dollars, starting with St. Joseph Light & Power Co. customers as the first site. The study aims to guide a future rate restructuring to promote equity and conservation.
