Bingo hearing sought after Pinnacle probe in Chicago Heights
A state agency completed its investigation of Pinnacle bingo games on Halsted Street and Joe Orr Road in Chicago Heights and referred the matter for a hearing. The Illinois Department of Revenue began the probe last fall into alleged violations of the state bingo law, with The Star documenting two months of its own inquiry. Pinnacle closed in early February without explanation, amid heavy media and state scrutiny.
