Glenwood revises 911 referendum cost outlook
Glenwood trustees revised the 911 emergency referendum for the November ballot. The new estimate raises the first two years cost to 85 cents per month per customer due to equipment price increases, with a substantial future decrease expected. The mayor lamented lost time since the 1988 defeat and noted the long wait to full operation amid many communities pursuing 911.
