Remembering Bobbo Parker A Richton Park teen dies in kite line accident
Friends and family recall 16 year old Robert Parker known as a bright, positive presence. He died after a kite with metallic ribbon touched a power line in Richton Park near his home on Cedar Road at about 5 30 p m. Authorities say the 180 000 volt shock traveled through him as his father performed CPR. Parker, a Rich Central High School freshman, had been a caddie at Rav islee and worked toward his dream car. He had set track and wrestling marks and was deeply involved with friends and family. His death prompts school crisis staff and a telephone tree at Rich Central.
