Richton Park teen electrocuted chasing a kite accident
Robert William Parker 16 of Richton Park died after his Christmas string kite with aluminum base touched a power transformer. Fire and ambulance crews found Parker in ventricular fibrillation. he died at Olympia Fields Osteopathic Regional Hospital after CPR and life support failed. Parker, a Rich Central High School student and Ravisloe Country Club caddy, was survived by parents Bert and Michelle Parker and a wide circle of relatives. Visitation and funeral details were released by Sain Sullivan Funeral Home.
