Raymond T Teaman, burned about the eyes and face in a State University chemical laboratory incident two weeks ago, left Milwaukee hospital and returned home Saturday. Facial burns faded, eyes improved but must stay out of light. Dr Schwidner advised avoiding use of eyes for several weeks.

Narrow Escape At Nekoosa Crossing In Auburndale
August Kotlow of Auburndale escaped serious harm when his team and buggy were struck by a Central Railroad freight near the Roddis factory on Fourth Street. The horse nearest the engine died instantly, the other was saved, and Kotlow suffered a severe back sprain. He is under care at the Farmers' Home with Dr. Doege. the crossing is not deemed dangerous, and this is the first accident at that point.

Last Saturday Charles Neitzel employed on the new Witter manual training school building at Grand Rapids was seriously injured when a brick fell from scaffolding about forty feet above him. Tragic Fall Fatal to Child Near Auburdale
Mr and Mrs A Madenwald living two and a half miles west of Auburdale mourn their three and a half year old son who died last week from injuries after falling from a chair and striking his head on the sharp edge of a stove. The fracture proved fatal in about fifteen minutes. Funeral held from the home on Saturday.
