Marshall Recreation Dept Offers Frisbee Tourney and Skate Trip
The Marshall Recreation Department announces two activities for high school students on October 16 and 17. An Ultimate Frisbee tournament starts at 12 noon at Marshall Athletic Field with a $20 team fee and registration by October 9. teams 7 to 10 players will play at least two games. A separate October 14 horseback riding trip for grades 6–8 to Sundance Riding Stables in Grand Ledge costs $27 for city taxpayers and $30 for others, with registration by October 7. A Thursday skate trip to Ranney Skate Park in Lansing leaves from Marshall High School at noon, costs $4 for taxpayers and $7 for others, with registration by October 10. Participants may take part in hayrides and a hot dog roast. transportation is provided.
