Portage Central and Holland Christian Lead Region 10 Science Olympiad

Portage Central High School and Holland Christian Middle School topped the Region 10 Science Olympiad held at Kellogg Community College on March 16, with both schools surviving a dense field from six counties. The event featured numerous high school and middle school teams, with individual event winners including Portage Central and Holland Christian competitors across disciplines such as Cell Biology, Chemistry, Disease Detective, and Dynamic Planet, as well as multiple sub-competitions. The top two teams in each division advance to the state competition at Michigan State University later in spring.
