Tomboy and The Champ screens at Casey Drive In on September 11 and 12, featuring Candy Moore with Ben Johnson and Rex Allen among others. Proceeds benefit Clark County Homemakers Extension Association supporting 4-H clubs. tickets from extension, 4-H members, or Marshall Farm Bureau. Show starts near 7:30 with two cartoons plus the film.
The Hawker Garlin and Schroeder families met August 18 in Fairview Park Casey for their thirty fourth reunion. An 8 basket noon dinner followed a business meeting led by President Howard Hawker. Three deaths births and marriages were reported. The next reunion is set for August 1964 at Casey Park. The next G E D tests will be held in Charleston September 16 17 with exams at 8 30 a m in Pemberton Hall Eastern Illinois University.
