Judge Hatch Sentences Seven Men in Local Court
Seven prisoners appeared before Judge Hatch for sentencing. Two were sent to Taykson prison, while five received probation and fines. Mail Plane Crashes Into House In Alhambra
A tri motor Western Air Express mail plane inbound from Salt Lake City overshot the field in Alhambra California and crashed into a house bursting into flames. Pilots Bart Cox and George Sherwood escaped with a passenger not yet identified. Fourteen hundred forty five pounds of Christmas mail and the house were destroyed. The crash was the last flight of Jimmy Dole before his 1935 Honolulu crash.
