The Egypt Community Church invites former members and friends to a basket dinner at noon following the annual meeting on the second Sunday of June. Worship will follow 11 00 to 12 00 standard time and all services will be in the Egypt Union Church for the next six months. Sunday School begins June 4 at 10 00 standard time.

Miss Ferne Hermann returns to Chicago after a two week vacation spent traveling south and east. She was accompanied by her mother Mrs Vera Hermann and Mrs Babe Folkman who joined the trip.
The June meeting of ANA will be held Monday evening June 5 at the camp Hall with oracle Juaneta Lempke presiding. Hostesses are Mesdames Erma Strawbridge Mary K Mears and Mabel Emmons. Final plans and rehearsals for the Royal Neighbor Convention set for June 8 in San Jose will be discussed. Mrs Chris Kreiling of Havana was guest of honor at a Sunday 1 o'clock dinner hosted by Miss Helena Kreiling and Oren Wilford and Albert Kreiling. Attendees included Mr and Mrs Chris Kreiling daughters Miss Carolyn Kreiling Havana Mrs John Armingham of Hope Valley RI Miss Bertha Kreiling Peoria and the hosts.
The annual county home bureau tea was held Wednesday afternoon in the Havana Methodist church. Over 100 members and friends enjoyed Miss Meta Marie Kellar’s illustrated talk on Norway and ten countries from her summer abroad. An international theme featured flags from many nations as the centerpiece on the tea table. Executive board members wore costumes representing different countries. Forest City unit attendees included Mesdames Roy Hibbard, Henry Wahlffeld, Bertha Ellenberger, Warren Neikirk, William Parr, Al Wilson and Mrs. Russel Rickett, a newly honored member.
Veda E Strube hosted a well attended tea at Havana's Methodist church basement. A Norwegian farm life speaker with slides interested guests as the International scheme ran through the event. Topeka unit members Mrs Jack Sarfi and Mrs Henry Strube attended along with several other Topeka residents.
