Manilla Bowling Club's ambitious year ends in plans for growth
The Manilla Bowling Club reports a 110 member base with a waiting list, and outlines major projects including moving and demolishing the newly acquired clubhouse, extending the club house, and installing a new green. Members volunteer for site work, with leadership by Len McKay and Clinch. The 1951/52 season saw strong competition results, visits from Inverell and Gympie, 28 players traveling to Narrabri, and a record outdoor prize presentation. The club notes improved stature and thanks key volunteers including W R Grantham, A C Blanch, Ted Noth, and secretary A C Blanch.
