A Friday May 17 1907 report notes President Roosevelt’s stance on Debs and Mor ton with details on Kansas ouster actions against brewers. It describes liquor destruction plans by peace officers and court actions to seize and smash liquor while rivers carry the confiscated contents. It also recounts a Town exasperation tale at James town involving Governors Woodruff Heyward Glenn and North Carolina South Carolina prohibitionist context.
At the Jamestown Exposition the Sea Board Air Line plans a 1600 square foot exhibit in the States' Exhibit palace. The display will use arches and grain rice covered columns with green interior finishes. It will show cotton, tobacco, rice, by products from seed, wood from local timber, minerals, Florida fruits and vegetables, sponges from Cedar Keys, and Sumatra leaf tobacco from Florida hill country.

G W Cloyd a Plunk Missouri merchant recounts a four year old accident when a jam son bar cut his thumb the doctor urged amputation but he refused and used Bucklen Amica Salve from J M Samuel druggist at 25 cents which cured the dangerous wound.
