A genuine old-time revival is underway at the Methodist church in Manatee and is growing daily since mid last week. Rev W Norton leads with assistance from Rev L B Bridgers known as the Boy Preacher of Marion. Bridgers, 28, became ill briefly but preached Monday night on Dives and Lazarus and several seekers professed faith. five have joined the church.
