Bridge Construction Funds and County Expenditures Detailed
The county board approved loans for the Braden Creek bridge totaling 2600 dollars with payments due July 1, 1907 and July 1, 1908 at 8 percent interest. A new bond of 2000 dollars with sureties was approved. County attorneys were hired at 150 dollars per year. The Oneco drain committee reported and bids were to be advertised. Numerous vouchers list stationery, salaries, election supplies, insanity case expenses, roadwork, jail supplies, and bridge work, with warrants drawn from General Revenue, Road, and other funds totaling 4470 dollars and 98 cents. The board adjourned to February’s first Monday.

The Crow Retaliated in Americus Accident
Frank Wilson a leading mill man near Americus and brother of Representative Jarret Wilson is injured in a strange accident. While driving his buggy a wounded crow moved about and the gun fired when the wing touched the trigger tearing flesh in his right arm. He is hospitalized with hope for preservation of the arm.
