Seaboard Air Line seeks abandonment of certain rail service
The Florida Railroad Commissioners in Tallahassee set a public hearing for January 14 at 10 am to consider the Seaboard Air Line’s request to abandon train service from Silver Springs Junction to Silver Springs and Terra Ceia Junction to Terra Ceia. The public may speak and show cause why the order should not be issued. The Record notes the commission reportedly refused the request.
