Copper Stocks Rise Bloodlessly in Boston Market
Boston traders saw copper shares advance with Copper Range moving 64 to 68 percent and Mohawk 38 to 41 percent while Isle Royale and Trimountain posted gains. Railroads showed weaker activity despite a generally firmer tone, and steel remained dull. The Erie Telegraph plan to pay a $7.5 million loan by January 1902 dominated industry talk along with London activity and possible control shifts among major rail and telephony interests.
