Oberlin pulls 22 million school bond from ballot
The Oberlin School District voted to pull the 4.21 mill, 37 year bond issue from the November ballot to fund a new sixth through eighth grade middle school on Pleasant Street. The district cites NEXUS gas pipeline funds and rising property values as covering the project without a levy. The district will still pursue a bond, but without voter approval.
