Cockfighting raid nets dozens of birds dogs in Elyria
Friendship Animal Protection League raided a residential property in Elyria last week on September 4, using a warrant from the Elyria Municipal Court. Officers seized 27 chickens, 11 dogs, 16 roosters and 1 hen. Birds show varying injuries but are expected to recover with treatment at the Elyria shelter.
