Amherst Shop With A Cop charity brings holiday joy to 10 kids
Amherst Police Department and FOP partnered for the first Shop With A Cop event at Amherst Target. Ten children ages six to 13 were paired with officers to shop for gifts and some items for their families. Kids rode in police cars and released sirens as they bought gifts, aiming to grow the program for more families facing hardship.
