SAN DIEGO CP Testimony described by Raymond A. Curtis a convicted smuggler now on parole identifying Louis G. Ballard as a hijacker. Ballard faces trial with Clifford Duke Jr. and Victor Buono on charges of smuggling forbidden parrots. Curtis also testified Ballard assaulted Nicholas A. Spicuzza at a Desert Center airstrip and hijacked a bird laden aircraft. Spicuzza corroborated the incident and testified about a proposed deal with U S customs agents to inform on narcotics smugglers.
