Santa Ynez community district plan eyed by LAFCO
LAFCO staff filed a report analyzing the proposed Santa Ynez Community Services District. Proponents led by the Santa Ynez Improvement Assn claim the 512 acre area needs sewer service now and will extend to surrounding areas. The Board of Supervisors set November 9 for a special election on district formation. An argument in favor, to accompany the ballot, is being filed with the County Election Division and signed by A. W. Nelson, vice-president of Santa Ynez.
