Sacramento Californians remain obligated to pay 1971-72 property taxes despite the state supreme court ruling scrapping the school finance system. Pathologists confirm gunshot deaths of Attica hostages
Two noted pathologists Dr. Henry Siegel and Dr. Michael Baden affirmed that nine hostages killed in the Attica prison revolt died from gunshot wounds after re autopsies. Monroe County medical examiner Dr. John Edland had conducted the original autopsies. A undertaker had earlier said one hostage showed no visible bullet wounds.
