College Day at Hancock Draws 40 Colleges

More than 40 colleges will be represented Wednesday November 20 in Santa Maria as Allan Hancock hosts a college day starting at 9 a.m. Participating schools include UC campuses, the State Colleges, Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and Pomona, Cal State Fresno Long Beach San Jose Bakersfield Sonoma Stanislaus Sacramento, USC Pepperdine Chapman Westmont Cal Lutheran Loma Linda Mills College and more. Students should sign up in the counseling office for details.

Cabrillo Speech Team Places Fifth at First League Meet

Cabrillo's first regular league meet at Camarillo High School nets 37 sweepstakes points and fifth place among 18 schools. Debaters led by Tom Adam Ed Perrazzo take JV and varsity spots with several finalists and additional sweepstakes points from teammates. A Carpinteria High stop set for November 8 9.
