Young suspects caught in school burglary case
A sheriff's deputy nabbed two 15 year old Mission Hills youths who confessed to stealing about 300 in tape recorders and gear from Los Berros School in three burglaries on Sept 27 Oct 6 and 11. They were released to parents pending juvenile hearings, with an additional malicious mischief charge for defacing walls with swastikas.

Three Santa Maria youths caught stealing 1966 Volkswagen in Lompoc
At 1 a.m. in front of Williams Brothers Market officers thwarted a theft of a 1966 VW. Three youths aged 12 and 13 were taken into custody after fleeing in the rear of the property. The owner, Ewin Beck of Lompoc, reported the car in for repairs.
