Meir rejects return of Egyptian troops to East Bank
Prime Minister Golda Meir declares the return of Egyptian troops to the East Bank of the Suez Canal totally unacceptable. She calls for continued separation of forces, an unlimited cease fire, and opening the waterway to all shipping.
