Lompoc Braves blank Tigers 27 at Huyck Stadium

Junior quarterback Rolly Garife and senior halfback Nelson Carter each scored twice as the Lompoc Braves beat the San Luis Obispo Tigers 27 to 0 in a non league varsity football game. Carter rushed for 114 yards on 16 carries and the Carter Garife duo combined for 286 yards. The win marked Lompoc’s first victory of the season. Next week Lompoc visits Arroyo Grande.
