Bombers Hit Anti Aircraft Bunkers Near DMZ South Of Quang Tri
U S Air Force B52s struck antiaircraft positions and supply bunkers seven miles south of Quang Tri Combat Base. The raid targeted two bunkers near Highway 1 with about 180 tons of bombs in two waves. Allied helicopters reported antiaircraft fire in the area as South Vietnamese forces recently reoccupied Nui Ba Ho and Base Camp Sarge amid ongoing moves along the A Shau Valley.
