Lompoc Hospital Plans Bond Election For 75 Bed Nursing Home
Directors of the Lompoc Hospital District moved toward a bond election next June to fund Phase 1 expansion and a 75 bed nursing home. The plan aims to finance about 600 750 thousand for the home plus land and rising costs. If the vote fails to reach two thirds, a cheaper financing path may exist. The project addresses Valley medical needs as private developers showed no interest. The nursing home would free 36 beds for acute and pediatric care.
