More troops withdrawn from Vietnam

Most departures came from the Americal Division as it shuts down operations, with 4,600 soldiers and 1,000 airmen leaving. Mass slaying near Grass Valley leaves five dead
A California mother Charlene Vichi and her four children were shot to death in Cherry Creek Acres while their grandparents were seriously wounded. Estranged husband Alexandre Vichi was arrested 105 miles away in Healdsburg after officers found a .22 rifle in his car.
