Civil service hearing set for county regulations
County employee groups led by the County Employees Assn. and all department heads are called to a Civil Service Commission hearing on June 3 at 10 a.m. in the supervisors' hearing room of the County Administration Building. The revised draft of the county wide civil service regulations will be circulated by June 1. The new system, approved by voters last November, takes effect July 1.

Low bid for flood control building at Lompoc Airport
U K Industries of Santa Barbara submitted the lowest bid of 9 992 dollars for a flood control maintenance building at Lompoc County Airport. Six bids were opened.
