Southern Baptists host parent teacher meeting at church

The First Southern Baptist Church holds a 4 30 p m Sunday parent teacher conference for parents and teachers of preschool children in Sunday school with a film on guiding children toward Christ and a Q A period. The Coming of Christ Sermon at Church of Christ

Virgil Leach will preach on The Coming of Christ at 8:45 and 11 a.m. services at the Church of Christ on Walnut Ave and O St. Hubert Eatman will direct the singing at 8:45 with Wes Coggins leading the songs at both morning services. Neal Whitaker of the Lompoc Congregation announces a worldwide Jehovah’s Witnesses assembly titled Peace on Earth to be held July 14 20 at Dodger Stadium drawing about 55000 attendees. All members including women and children are delegates and will contribute to organizing rooms and departments for the event. Delegates will come from across the United States and from many foreign countries.
