The Miguelito Circle OES meeting set for tonight is postponed until Friday May 18. Members will gather at the North H Street home of Mrs Will Hall with dessert served at 7 30 P M.

Miss Judith Jardine of Oakland marries Edwin D. Wellemeyer son of Mr and Mrs Leonard R Wellemeyer in a single ring ceremony at St Benedicts Oakland on May 12. Bride given in marriage by her father. They will reside in San Diego.
Mrs. Faye Porter presents Today’s Music In Recital at the Alpha Clubhouse with two shows on May 22 and May 26. The May 22 program features Charra Ham mond and Seventh Grade Students Joy McCarthy Marian Dennis Claudia Feicholtz May ette Swonger Betty Lou Paga duan plus a chorus of young voices and individual performers John Begg Jimbo Reed Mary Lee Reed Ben Macias Lorraine Inouye Neomi Organo Carmen Bumatay Sharon O'Hair John O'Brien Carolyn Heiber and a Junior High Vocal chorus.
The Third Annual Band and Choral Concert is set for June 24 at Ryan Park as part of Lompoc Flower Festival. Lompoc High School Band will perform with Community Chorus directed by Mr. Robert McAnlis. joiners may call Mrs. Curtis Levens at 8 2454.
At the Tuesday Legion Auxiliary Unit 211 meeting in the Veterans Memorial building, officers for 1956-57 were elected led by Virginia Grossini as president. Poppy Poster contest winners were Eddie Escobar, Richard Gomez, Linda Aguilar in that order with Tommy Garcia honorable mention. Delegates to the Fresno convention were Grossini, Proud, and Janos with Moumblow, Ingamells, and Williams as alternates. The program features Grace Anderson Sue Godden in piano and chorus pieces, George Mathias original works, and a Mayo Mer cer suite, concluding with community songs.
The Eagles Auxiliary schedules a pot-luck rummage sale for Saturday, May 26, at Esters Hall starting at 10:00 a.m. The event is announced by the group through a prior notice.
The group corrected a mistaken sale date and set June 4 for a function while also finalizing plans for installing new officers. At the May 7 meeting, Mrs Gustave Bromser Mrs Marion Wurl and Mrs Ralph Butterfield were named best schoolgirl costume wearers. Members will meet May 21 at 6 30 p m at the Alpha Clubhouse for a potluck dinner and regular meeting.
Members of the Lompoc Players gathered for a social evening at the Valley Club on Saturday May 12. The event featured Grecian masks in pink and black and attendees included Mr and Mrs Edmund Burke Mr and Mrs Ralph Butterfield Mr and Mrs Arnold Brughelli Mr and Mrs Lawrence Rivaldi Mr and Mrs Charlies Lamont and Mr and Mrs Richard Iair.
The Lompoc Community Woman's Club closed its 1955 56 season with officers installed by President Mrs Erick Anderson at the Alpha Club house on May 9. Nipinu Camp Fire Group sponsored by the club opened with the Flag Salute led by Camp Fire Girls leader Mrs L Grossman. Handcraft samples from the group were shown to members.
The Rainbow for Girls installation at the Odd Fellows Hall in Lompoc honored Audra Round as Worthy Advisor with a purple and white garden decor. About 175 attendees heard officers installed. notable participants included Mona Merriam and Helen Schuyler.
Alpha Garden Section invites the public to a May 23 gathering at 2:00 pm at the Alpha club house. Wesley Keyes of Burpee Seed Company will speak and Mrs Maynard Hoffman of Lompoc will demonstrate Japanese style flower arrangements.
