Noise in incubators may threaten premature babies study says
Two scientists measured interior noise in 17 standard incubators at Children's Memorial Hospital Chicago and found levels from 68 to 82 decibels. They warn that prolonged exposure could risk hearing, noting incubators amplify vibrations and room noise. They urge better soundproofing and acoustical treatment in hospitals.
