Norstrand enters Solvang Justice Court race for June primary
Santa Ynez Valley attorney Ed Norstrand, 52, announced his candidacy for judge of the Solvang Justice Court in the June 8 primary. A 26 year practitioner who served in World War II, he has been active in civic groups from the American Heart Association fund drive to the American Legion and Rebild Society. He studied at USC and Southwestern University, practiced in Los Angeles County before moving to the valley, and is married with two daughters.

Dr Anthony Zaffato a sociologist and director of the Santa Barbara Alphagenic Center will present a lecture and biofeedback demonstration under the Mental Health Assn of Santa Ynez Valley tomorrow at 7 30 pm in the Veterans Wing of the Veterans Memorial Building in Solvang The center founded in 1964 offers counseling seminars on self regulation and stress management He and his wife Mary co authored Alphagenics a 1974 Doubleday book on alphagenic self regulation using biofeedback to gauge progress
