La Purisima staff worked through the weekend to complete the yearbook. Editor Nora Knickrehm praised the effort while Jim Lowe kept the team motivated. A mascot puppy, fundraising, and last minute proofs marked the effort as staff warned of remaining payments due by April 1 to avoid reselling the book at a higher price.

Cabrillo Senior Fashion Show Debuts Leprechaun Theme in Cafeteria
Cabrillo High School hosts an all senior fashion show on Tuesday March 13 in the cafeteria. Local shops supply outfits for models and escorts including Moores Penneys and Liz Carmichael's Fashions. Door prizes are donated by area businesses and tickets cost one dollar at the door or in advance from models or Angelique Graves. Proceeds go to the Senior Class picnic with Royann D Amore directing decorations and Susan Disney coordinating.
