Planning Commission actions list county rezoning and permits
The County Planning Commission dropped without prejudice a general plan amendment in Santa Maria and set April 11 for a further hearing. It discussed land in an agricultural preserve, considered a 48 acre Santa Ynez Valley rezoning to DR-2 for 86 homes, and heard a potential new environmental statement. Public hearings moved to March 28 for Goleta DR-6 zoning. It approved Del Cielo Mobile Home Estates expansion to 35 trailer units with a plan amendment to residential, and approved Santa Maria Rifle Club CUP for a 30 by 70 lobby and potential skeet range. It approved Nun CUP to convert a trailer to a single family home at Ventucopa, and continued Howland and Rice final development approval for 18 homes at Winchester Rd Goleta Valley to March 14.
