February wholesale prices rise amid inflation concerns

Government data show an unadjusted 1.5 percent rise in wholesale prices in February, driven by food, fuels, and metals. The increase, while the smallest in four months, leaves annual inflation at 18 percent, with farm products and processed foods up 1.6 percent and prices likely to push Retail costs higher as pass through continues.
