OEQ approves sewer plan for Santa Ynez reservation

The Santa Ynez Valley Coordinating Council selected We the People as the winning theme for the valley's 1976 Independence Day celebration after reviewing 85 entries. Evelyn Beaudoin of Santa Ynez submitted the winning entry and will receive a $10 prize. The council outlined plans for parade events in Solvang, a satellite holiday telecast from Solvang and Denmark, and a queen coronation ball on July 3 with four contestants sponsored by local groups.
